Albergue Llanes Playa de Poo

The hostel is tidy and makes a good impression. The location is great, near the beach and also close to Llanes, which is bigger and has restaurants, shops, and more. The staff are lovely and really helpful. This seems much more suited to El camino pilgrims than regular tourists. Prices in the region were high in general, but for the money this place felt very basic. The kitchen is open from 11 to 9 because some staff sleep there. That's understandable, but it's small and poorly equipped, with just one pot. You have to wait your turn, and if someone takes too long, you might not get to cook at all or be told you shouldn't be there.

I really liked the atmosphere and all the kind people there. The hostel is lovely, the accommodations are good, and the food is delicious. The little boy Yohannes is especially a sunshine and made my stay unforgettable. I'll definitely come back!

Nice warm showers and a working kitchen that's open from 11am-9pm made this a lovely place to recover after a long camino day. They keep their own chickens, so you can buy fresh omelettes or eggs.

The garden is a great place to relax, and the surrounding scenery is stunning. It's a very nice place with great vibes, and the outstandingly friendly staff make you feel at home from the first second. I'd definitely recommend staying here!
