Apartamentos Las Rosas

We couldn't make our trip because of Covid, so we never got to stay in these apartments, though I'm sure they're fantastic. The owner was understanding and kind when we canceled and didn't charge us a cancellation fee. All I can say is THANK YOU. When we're able to travel again, these apartments will be a must-visit.

Noelia was so attentive and kind, and answered all my many questions really quickly, haha. The apartment is lovely, clean, and cozy. The kitchen is small but has what you need to cook, and with a bit of rearranging you can make a pantry. The heating comes on for a while in the morning and again in the evening at this time of year, which makes waking up and showering after getting home comfortable. The water heater is huge, so there's plenty of hot water. Soundproofing could be better, though it also depends on the neighbors. Ours came in late, slammed doors, and spoke loudly. The garage entrance is quite narrow, so maneuvering a long car takes a bit of effort, but it's manageable.

The penthouse felt lovely, and the countryside views with a little sea visible through the skylight were a nice touch. It was also wonderfully quiet, just right for unwinding. We stayed in the second half of July 2015, and Noelia and Covadonga looked after us really well. Cleaning was included except for the kitchen. They even replaced our old pans and brought us a toaster.

We’ve stayed here a few times and have generally been quite happy. The location is handy, very peaceful, with Antilles beach just a short walk away and Llanes about five minutes off. The only thing I’d change is the mattress, since you can feel the springs.
