The website gave us a completely false idea of what we'd booked. We called to confirm an ocean view, a working shower and AC, but none of that matched what we found. We had to haul our luggage up three flights of stairs. There was no AC, just a 32 inch TV with no streaming, and the shower head broke while I was using it. Dinner was overpriced, and there was no AC there either. The receptionists were rude and incompetent. Their answer was a fan, which I had to carry up those same three flights myself. The service was horrific. We also had appointments for two massages, waited five hours in town, then returned to find out they'd been canceled. Unbelievable. I wouldn't recommend this place at all.

A charming French style hotel, with lovely views from the balcony. The beds were comfortable, and they changed the towels and linen every day. The village is only a short walk away.

The room was sweltering, with no airflow even when we opened the windows. They brought up a small desk fan when I asked, so credit for that. The place is clean and well kept, but it needs updating and the amenities you'd expect in 2025. If AC isn't an option, at least put ceiling fans in the rooms. I don't see how this merits four stars.

Breakfast was just OK, and I had to fish a couple of dead flies out of the juice. I also wonder when the hotel got its four stars, because that rating may need a review. The Expedia listing said there was a pool. There is one, but using it costs €22 per person per visit. It also claimed there was laundry, which the hotel doesn't have. The Booking.com listing alongside this Google result says all rooms have aircon, and that's not true either. Roadside rooms are noisy, so opening the windows means putting up with traffic. Llanes itself is beautiful and well worth visiting.

There was a good continental breakfast for €10, and the hotel is a short walk from the center. Our room was large, with a huge balcony facing the car park. Parking is off the road in a gated lot, with a few covered spots too if you're lucky.
