Casa Mariví

After four months, our valid reservation was cancelled without any explanation. I can't recommend this accommodation provider.

Asturias is so beautiful, and Mariví is lovely. I'd give six stars if I could.

The refrigerator is ridiculously small for all the rooms and smells like someone's rotten cheese. And after leaving in the car, you can't tell whether you'll have a parking spot when you get back. We booked a double bed more than six months ahead, but were given two singles, which doesn't work for us. They also didn't keep to the cleaning schedule. If you were still in the room, even fresh from the shower or on the toilet, that same sour-faced woman would rush you because she had another place to clean later. Honestly, don't clean then. If you're only sweeping and not changing the sheets, why does it matter? I'm still not sure whether the unpleasant woman in the black cleaning uniform was the owner or the queen of the mambo. She didn't even show up properly and hurried us along, nearly throwing the key at us.

We had a great weekend in this lovely little house. The three lively girls there greeted us right away with smiles. Our small apartment was up in the attic, with one bedroom, two beds, and a sofa bed in the kitchen. It was clean and nicely equipped, with a microwave, toaster, stovetop, and what we needed to cook. There's a bar next door, and an even better restaurant just behind it. The service and food were excellent, with very reasonable prices. A perfect little getaway, highly recommended!
