The staff were very amiable, though they were only around for limited hours. The room itself was nice, but it was unheated much of the time. There is heating, just on an eccentric schedule. In March, the clearest sign of a 16th century stay is the cold. Wifi was on, but most of the time there was no internet access, maybe another bit of that 16th century feeling?

The nearby restaurant was so loud until 4.30 am that I couldn’t sleep with the windows open. I had to open them to get some fresh air, so the noise made that impossible.

The staff were really friendly when we arrived, and the room was amazing, with lots of space and a big window facing the main street in our case. The bathroom was fine, and there was a minibar, toiletries, fresh towels, and so on. The double bed is actually two singles pushed together, but even with that, I’d give it a perfect 10.

Silvia was lovely during the short time we met, always smiling and very kind and helpful. The stay was wonderful, and she let me remain until the time I’d planned for my trip, which worked perfectly with the weather. Thanks for everything. I’ll return.

The receptionist, Díez, was very helpful during our six-night stay. There were only six rooms, so things were quiet. Even though it’s centrally located, we slept comfortably with the windows shut when it was cool. Our view was just the town rooftops. A good experience.
