The quiet was just what we wanted, and MIA had a great time running around on the lovely lawn in that little enchanted corner. The house, "XANA," is surrounded by nature, with a rooster, chickens, geese, cows, and more. Saúl made us feel at home straight away, greeting us with cider and a tray of tasty food after our trip from Almería. He also pointed out places to visit and eat, which we really appreciated. We were very comfortable during our few days there, and our furry friend even made friends with the owners' dog. Saúl was so charming and attentive, and gave us lots of tips for things to see and places to eat. We arrived to a delicious appetizer and cider. It’s a great spot for enjoying nature. We had a private terrace all to ourselves, and the garden was delightful. It’s a cozy cottage with all the comforts, in a lovely setting in a small hamlet. The owner speaks only Spanish, but he’s exceptionally friendly. He gave us plenty of useful tips for excursions by car or on foot, plus a handy map and a list of nearby restaurants and shops. A platter of meat and local sheep’s cheese, along with a bottle of cider, was waiting for us. You can buy eggs from his chickens and cider there. About 50m farther along, there’s a nice meeting place with a bar, small shop, bread, and everything you need. It’s low season in May, so the rate was half the summer price, €50 a night.
