Getting into the apartment was an extremely bad experience, the worst check-in I've had. We booked through hotels.com and expected to get in right away, but there was no one at the front desk. I had to call a number, and I was glad we had a local phone number. They said I was supposed to have received an email with a link to submit everyone's details before getting access. Somehow hotels.com hadn't linked up with them and the email never arrived. They acted like that wasn't their fault, so whose fault was it? I spent 10-15 minutes filling in everyone's information, then got no response. On another call they said we had to pay a tax before getting the entry code, but the payment link wouldn't work. I tried it over 5-6 times with all 3-4 of my cards. After a 20-hour flight, we were left outside and refused entry. I called over 10 times. They suggested my Canada Visa card might be the reason the payment failed. Why let Canadians book if none of this works at check-in? It took over an hour to pay and get inside. Standing outside after that flight was ridiculous. For $2xx a night I could have had many other choices and avoided this mess. Nobody at the company apologized. They said it was standard procedure. The room itself was okay and functional, if not fancy, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone coming from overseas.

They cancelled our booking at the last minute and said they'd help find us somewhere else, but never did. We were already on the plane to Barcelona when they told us, and dealing with it was especially difficult with two children.

The apartment was bright, spacious, cozy, and clean, with good equipment. The heating worked well, the showers were nice, and hot water came quickly. For parking, use a nearby lot called "Viajeros". The one downside was the bar downstairs. On some days, people played music and talked loudly until 22:30h.

The apartment was in great shape, and it had everything I needed. Check-in gave me trouble even though I hadn't done anything wrong. The ventilation also seems to pump in a scent like the ones used in Las Vegas casinos, and you can't turn it off. That could be a real problem for people with asthma or allergies. There were quite a few people with alcohol problems and a few homeless people sleeping on benches outside. It didn't bother me, though I know it would bother a lot of others.
