Hotel Reina Isabel

The room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and very good value. Dinner at the restaurant was a similarly good deal, with the menu costing thirteen euros. The hotel is out of town by the highway, so it wasn't convenient for visiting town, especially with the road works going on.

Stayed two nights. Basic but clean room with air conditioning and a TV. There’s a restaurant on site and lots of parking for cars, buses, and trucks.

The ham and bean soup was the best I've ever had, and the restaurant was both affordable and tasty, though the food was basic. Don't expect fancy dining, even if bottle service here was a surprise. I booked a cheap place while climbing nearby and hadn't looked at any photos, so I didn't realize it was basically a truck-stop hotel. It's quite a way from town, so having a car was pretty necessary. The manager didn't speak English at all, and my Spanish was rusty, but we got by. It's not the prettiest place, but it has heart and turned into a funny, good memory.

Stayed four nights on business. The beds were clean and really comfortable, the staff fantastic, and the food was just as good. It was £25 a night, with the menu of the day at £10. I spent one night in a 4-star place in salou, then five nights at Reina. Next visit.
