Hotel Sansi Park

We stayed at Hotel Sansi Park on the night of December 13-14, 2025, and left very disappointed. We were uncomfortable with the neighborhood and paid €14.50 for the private parking because we didn't trust the area, not because it was more convenient. At night we could hear loud noise from the room next door, which made it hard to rest. The view was extremely unpleasant, and although the room wasn't especially small and the bed was fairly wide, the design felt archaic and dated. The bathroom door, handles, and fittings were worn and old. The hotel seems to have had some renovation, but it was dirty: dusty surfaces, no soap in the bathroom, and cleanliness that wasn't acceptable. After a four-hour drive, check-in was especially upsetting. A middle-aged female receptionist spent almost 30 minutes creating tension over an extra €8 charge for our four-year-old. The money itself wasn't the issue. It was the poor communication, lack of empathy, and unprofessional manner. A little kindness and a smile could have sorted things out. Management should reconsider whether this person is suited to a front desk role. As an architect, I felt the hotel showed no trust or quality, and certainly didn't deserve three stars. Its design, upkeep, cleanliness, service, and surroundings all fell well below an acceptable standard. The young female staff member in the morning was the one positive: she was polite, smiling, and genuinely humane. The extra bed we were pressured to pay for wasn't used. It was pushed against the wall, and its old pillow was so itchy and uncomfortable that it couldn't be used. That made the extra charge feel even less necessary or justified. I strongly recommend avoiding this hotel.
