SM Apartments

It's in the city center, close to Carrer Major and its shops, the river, Bon Peru supermarket and Plus fresk supermarket. For students who have just arrived, it could work since it's near capponet campus. The room wasn't very clean, though the man who works there was polite and helpful.

The apartments were clean and nice, though a little hard to find.

The location right by the main street is handy, and the price is good. We had clean towels and sheets, the place was clean, and the cleaning lady was really friendly. Internet worked perfectly, and we didn't have noise problems. There are basic cooking supplies too. It was a bit tricky to find the first time. The water heater leaked, and the frying pan was dented. The beds are twins, but only one had a mattress topper. The shower had hot water, although with two people showering often, the second person would likely find it turning cold pretty quickly.

The place is practically bare: four shower-gel sachets and a tiny bottle of dish soap, with no shampoo or hand soap. The climate-control unit is huge and deafening. If you don't want it waking you in the middle of the night, it's best to unplug it at the electrical panel. The building is neglected inside and out, with cables hanging down to the door and graffiti everywhere. Automatic lights aren't bright enough for the stairs, so bring your phone flashlight. Reception is never staffed, and nobody answers the intercom or phone unless Daniel happens to pick up, even in emergencies. The people answering the phone were rude, arrogant and no help at all. The service and customer care were the worst I've ever had at a hotel. I'd never return.
