The bathroom was good, with nice towels, and the inner patio was lovely. The secure underground parking was handy too. But we found the stay disappointing in several ways, despite expecting a treat after reading other reviews. Service was slow, with hardly any staff around. One person at reception seemed to handle everything and would disappear for several minutes at a time. There was nobody on duty at breakfast, and only two tables were set. The buffet was limited, the toaster only partly worked, and the coffee machine ran out of milk. We’d paid extra for a Junior Suite, but it wasn’t worth the cost. The bed was uncomfortable and the rooms were dark. The bedroom window faced the cafeteria, and smoke drifted up from the tables below. The living area balcony was covered in pigeon muck, so it wasn’t somewhere to sit. WiFi was weak and spotty, and didn’t feel secure. I wouldn’t recommend the hotel unless you really need to stay in central Llerena and need parking.

We couldn’t have picked a better place for our wedding. We held the ceremony in the main courtyard, then had the cocktail and party there too. Our family and friends, from Spain and abroad, stayed with us for two nights, and the whole experience was unforgettable and beautiful. Thanks to everyone at the hospedería for all the care and work that went into it. The hotel is in a great spot near the main square, town hall and church, and it also has convenient underground parking. There’s a terrace with a panoramic view over the town and surrounding region. The rooms were spacious, clean and had all the necessary furniture. The staff were kind, attentive and helpful, beyond what we expected. We also loved the food, tasty dishes made with local produce that blended traditional and innovative cooking. It’s an excellent place to stay or celebrate a wedding in beautiful Llerena.

We had the Sunday set lunch for two and paid 18€ per person, including a glass of wine. The dishes were well prepared and presented, and the set menu offered lots of choices, with clear symbols for dietary needs. The setting was lovely, and the service was gracious, friendly and efficient.

The room was charming, with high ceilings in the main building, and the beds were comfortable. WiFi worked well, and breakfast was very good quality, with plenty of hot and cold options. The staff were GREAT, quick to meet every need with a smile, sometimes even in English, which was kind. The village location was nice too. The shower didn’t have enough hot water for comfort. Staff said they’d check it before the next guest, so it wasn’t a big complaint. We didn’t use the spa or pool, but will next time. One large, thick pillow for the whole bed was awkward when two people wanted different arrangements. A couple of smaller pillows in the closet would be welcome. I’d also suggest leaving the WiFi password paper in each room, or handing it over with the key, instead of making guests call or go to reception.

A lovely town and a very good value hotel. The restaurant was excellent, and the staff were friendly.
