The owner was kind and understanding, and the bunk bed had a wooden panel in an odd spot that made me worry about hitting my head on the top bunk at night. The location was nice for an evening walk around the quiet town. The kitchen staff member came across as unprofessional and could use better training.

This is just about the restaurant. The weekend set menu seemed good value, though the dishes with unusual combinations weren't really for me. I liked the trinxat, made with cabbage, potatoes and meat, but it was a bit too salty. My partner's goat cheese salad had ingredients we didn't recognize and hadn't come across in a salad before. We both had rabbit for the main course. It was tender, but the slightly spicy vegetable sauce, mixed with the baked potatoes, made for a strange combination in my view.

I used to eat there about 10 years ago, when both the food and service were good. The menu feels below average now, and the food quality has gone down. I expected more.
