Apartaments Blau

We had a great holiday at Apartaments Blau. The balcony view was lovely, and the building is close to the shops, bus station, beach and everything else we needed. The place and the beds and towels were clean, and everything worked perfectly. Special thanks to Monica for her amazing service! :)))

We've stayed here for the last 2 years, and it suits us perfectly. My sister can't walk very far, and the location is great, with everything nearby. These are basic apartments, so some people expect too much. The roof top pool is great 😎.

We wanted to leave early, but there was nowhere else to stay. This is by far the worst place I've stayed. It's for partying, not resting. People came in drunk and partied until 6 am, and the walls and floor are so thin you can hear everything going on throughout the building. Sleeping without earplugs is impossible. The apartments are far too small for 4 people, and the beds are terrible. From the back of the building, the view is of a Favela. When we arrived, a broken glass, with half of it missing, was kept with the other glasses. That wouldn't have been a problem if there'd been enough light to see it properly before picking it up. I can't understand how anyone could rate these apartments 5 stars, or even 2.

The one good thing for me was the hot shower. Otherwise, I've never seen a worse apartment. The mattresses were so thin you could almost see through them, and sleeping on the ground outside would be more comfortable. If you care about your back, don't sleep here. There was no security or anything, and people screamed and yelled all night, keeping everyone awake. We will leave earlier than planned because there's no chance of rest or decent sleep. I'd like my money back, though I guess they can put it to better use.
