What the house offered didn't match its description. There was unrepaired water damage, and so many things were broken or missing compared with the listing that it was easier to list what actually worked and was provided.

The villa, its fenced grounds and the pool are lovely, and it worked really well for our dog. The sea view from the upstairs balcony made it our favorite spot for breakfast. A small supermarket with a bakery is only 500 meters away, so we could pick up fresh bread and rolls each day. We expected the two floors to be separate apartments, but they're connected by a staircase. There are two kitchens, though the supplies would really only equip one properly. For the four of us it was enough, but a larger group might struggle. We moved almost everything from the white kitchen downstairs to the better one upstairs, which has a gas stove and oven. Nobody from the agency showed us around, so I couldn't ask how to use the stove's piezo ignition. I couldn't work it out and bought a lighter. It's still upstairs by the stove. We arrived after a 13-hour drive to find no supplies left by previous guests at all, not even salt, spices or toilet paper. We're used to finding a few things, so we left our unopened items, including coffee and filters, for whoever came after us. There were no dish towels or cleaning products either, so bring your own. We skipped the air conditioning, which would have cost an extra €150 per week. There are cameras in the rooms. The agency told us they were switched off and only used in winter when the house is empty. They said it was legally allowed except in bedrooms, and we reported those cameras to them. I can't know whether they're on or off, or whether someone might turn them on at night. Cameras in the bedrooms should be removed when guests arrive. I find that unacceptable. The booking agency had very bad reviews and told us to report any defects within 24 hours or we'd be charged, so we photographed everything that was already damaged and sent it in. The broken glass is still there, and the table still has a crack. ;-) That doesn't bother us much. A bedspread was dirty too, and we found a dirty glass in the cupboard. I emailed both the head office where I booked and the Lloret branch. On the second day the pool turned cloudy. A woman at head office replied kindly and said someone would handle it. The Lloret branch's response was completely different: they said it had been cleaned Saturday, accused us of not appreciating the pool cleaners' work, and insisted it wasn't cloudy. That's unacceptable. I deal with customers every day, and the way they treated us was awful. No apology, just accusations and brushing us off, with no sign of a solution. I forwarded that email to head office and invited them to come see the pool for themselves. Soon after, they called to say someone would come clean it. I hope head office gave the Lloret agency a good dressing-down. The pump was adjusted and more cleaning solution was added, and the water stayed clear for the rest of our two-week stay. The pool attendant was very nice and said this can happen sometimes, and to let them know if it happened again. We did let them know, but the Lloret branch staff's incompetence made the first two days harder than they needed to be. Aside from that, we had a fantastic holiday. The villa, pool, garden and view are great. Apart from the initial problems, everything was perfect. The one-star service rating is only because of the nice woman at head office, not because of the exhibition center in Lloret de ...

The sea view and pool were the only good things about this house. We stayed for two weeks, and I wouldn't recommend it. It was advertised as two separate apartments, but that simply isn't true. The kitchens were poorly equipped, there was no dishwasher, and insects had infested the upstairs kitchen. The electrical system was a complete mess: power cuts happened, and sometimes the downstairs bedroom and bathroom had no lights. The downstairs bedroom's air conditioner was noisy and leaking water. We paid an extra €100 for the air conditioners, but got that money back. Other problems included a broken outdoor dining table, which had reportedly been damaged since last year and still hadn't been replaced, and a broken dryer. There was no vacuum cleaner. Some of the outdoor lights didn't work, and we went without hot water for two days until the agency resolved it.

We had a really positive experience renting this place. It was a pleasant stay, and we'd highly recommend it.
