We were a couple staying six nights in a two-bedroom apartment, and the experience was far below what a three- or four-star hotel should offer. The apartment photos show how it looked after the scheduled cleaning, which, according to the policy we got at reception, happens only once a week. On that visit, they left the bathroom, kitchen and floors undone. Sheets were changed only after we asked, and one set they gave us was visibly stained. The bed frame was broken and tilted, giving me back pain until staff replaced it four days later, after two angry complaints. We were given just two towels for the whole apartment and told replacements would cost extra. Though the washing machine and kitchen were advertised amenities, we received only one detergent sachet and one dish-soap sachet for the entire stay, then were told to buy our own. Breakfast was as low quality as it could be. With staff stretched thin and overworked, choices often ran out before we could get what we wanted. A few employees were rushing around trying to handle everything, and would lose their temper if we asked for something or pointed out that something was missing or not working. The reception entrance was dangerously slippery. My partner fell and cut his hand, and a warning sign appeared only afterward. The hotel couldn’t provide proper first aid. When we asked for the official complaints form (hoja de reclamaciones), they initially told us to find and print it ourselves, which is outright illegal under Spanish law. Some staff members were genuinely kind and helpful, but they seemed clearly understaffed and overworked, which appeared to drive most of these problems. The location and views are nice, but we couldn’t relax and wouldn’t return.

We found the quiet and nature we were looking for, and the stay was very good value. We rested well and had a comfortable holiday, so we’ll definitely be back. The resort is clean, well run and busy even off-season; management seemed to be making a clear effort to keep standards up. With hundreds of guests to look after each day, the staff still tried to help in a hectic setting. Maria at reception always greeted us with a smile, and Carlos replied quickly and handled problems professionally. The kitchen crew and the rest of the team were kind and attentive too. I hope management gives them an extra bonus, they deserve it. Our top-floor apartment had fantastic views, and the terrace barbecue became a family highlight. The resort is large and sits on the edge of Cala Pi, with views depending on which room you book. Apartments vary in layout and style, so contact reception before booking if you have particular needs, especially with family. That conversation can answer questions and help you get a better fit. If you like nature, hiking, walking, swimming or snorkelling, this quiet location is ideal. Nightlife seekers may find it too calm, but it suits families, couples and anyone looking for a spot away from busy places. Cala Pi has striking cliffs, turquoise water and good snorkelling. We saw rays resting in the sand in the evenings. They looked like mobula rays, though a chatbot said Mallorca also has stingrays with venomous spines, so I’m not sure. Be mindful if swimming late, they won’t sting, but might get scared if you walk on them. You can often spot them from the cliffs, resting near the fishermen’s spot. We made hiking our main activity. There’s a natural park just outside Cala Pi, with trails as long as you like, through forest and along the coast. We enjoyed the hidden spots like Cala Beltrán and the sunsets. Cala Pi village is tiny, with only a few restaurants, so we drove to Palma when we wanted more choice. It’s just a 20-minute drive. There’s also a nice kids’ club with activities and entertainment, as well as the pools. Food is a matter of taste, so I won’t leave a review of it. We had several options daily, and breakfast had different themes, tapas one morning, pancakes the next, plus donuts and waffles that the kids loved. There was always something for them, like pasta buffet or fries, which they appreciated, though kids are the worst judges, joking. The chef was there each evening to help with allergy questions or anything else. Staff made us feel welcome and helped whenever we asked for something unusual, like a lunch box or late dinner. Thanks again to them all. I’ve heard comments that drinks weren’t free, but there’s no information saying they are. Meal plans differ, so choose the one that suits you.

The hotel’s location was excellent, and the staff in general were friendly and helpful, always doing their best. We had a very pleasant stay and I’d strongly recommend the place. We did have an issue with two men in the coffee shop. They came across as rude and unprofessional, with very poor customer service. Their attitude didn’t match the hotel’s otherwise high standards. I think management may already know about them.

The rooms were spacious and good, and the mattress was very comfortable. There were hardly any amenities beyond toilet paper, towels and soap. My 11-year-old son also mentioned that sound carried badly through the spacious building. The fuse tripped often and cut power to the old living-room TV. He also found the unstable wheels under the secondary bedroom annoying.

Mateo was the highlight of our stay, so kind and friendly, and always ready to help. Another staff member was very friendly too, and reminded me of Denzel Washington. They made the experience enjoyable. The apartment was clean and well equipped, with delicious food and lots of choice. The swimming pools were always clean, and the hotel is close to a beautiful bay that wasn’t too crowded, so we could find a quiet place to relax and sunbathe. A great spot for families, and a wonderful stay. Thank you!
