HSM Son Verí - Adults Only

The buffet restaurant was excellent, better than a lot of city restaurants, and the rooms were modern, spotless, and impressively quiet. I never heard the neighbors. Couples should be very comfortable here, though the frosted-glass toilet and shower might not suit groups of friends. It deserves more than its official 3 stars. Highly recommend.

The staff were wonderfully friendly and helpful, and the rooms have been nicely refurbished, though they’re basic. Bus routes to both the airport and Palma are right there. The beach involves quite a downhill walk, so keep that in mind if you’re less mobile. The lifts are slow too, and there can be a wait when it’s busy.

The location worked really well for us, just one street from the beach and beside the bus station for Palma and the airport. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the price felt very reasonable for what we got. Our practical, well-equipped room had air conditioning, a blow dryer, shampoo, soap, and shower gel. Housekeeping cleaned it and changed the towels every morning, which was a big plus. Food was excellent and had lots of variety. We had a great stay!

The rooftop bar was a highlight, with great cocktails, and it was very nice when there was a DJ. The pool was small and shaded most of the day, though, and the music around it was very quiet. Staff were friendly and polite. The room was clean and nicely arranged, but the shower leaked all over the bathroom, and the balcony light switched on automatically at night with no way to turn it off. There are only 2 lifts for 11 floors. It’s about 800 meters to the beach, with a steep uphill walk on the way back. Food was always bland, with little seasoning or variety, and we didn’t like any of the desserts. Having to pay separately for every drink, even water or juice, was disappointing. We wouldn’t return.
