Camping Castillo de Loarre

Such a lovely little campsite. Huesca was baking, but up here, half an hour out of town and above the plain, there was a nice breeze. They were watering the pitches when I arrived, so the tent went on grass and the pegs actually held. There are shady trees, a little pool to cool off in, and a restaurant and bar. It cost 15e for me, my bike, and tent.

The campsite is in a nice spot, with a good view over the town below. If you're pitching a tent, though, it may be hard to find a level place. The shower and toilet block is dated, but it works.

Lovely walking and cycling paths start just around the corner, and the views from the campsite are beautiful.

A tremendous deal, and I'd absolutely visit again. The location is great, the pitches are well kept, and there are good shared spaces. Staff are great too. Showers were clean and had loads of hot water, though the caulking could use a freshen-up. There's even a microwave for heating food or drinks. The café Wi-Fi is great, and the drinks are good value.
