Apartamentos Pins Marina 24

Bars, a restaurant, and a supermarket are right outside, and the beach is a one-minute walk away. We stayed for two nights last week and thought it was really good value for money. The apartments are a little dated, but spotlessly clean, so it wasn’t an issue. It’s great for families. There’s a deposit, refunded after two days if there’s no damage. We’d definitely stay here again with family and children.

The pictures don’t really do these apartments justice. It was clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The pool and reception look like they’ve been recently tiled and decorated. It’s basic, but having a washing machine is really useful. The complex and surrounding area feel safe and secure. The beach is just across the road, there’s a supermarket next door, and the bus stop is right outside. At 2€ a trip, with weekly tickets available, the bus is an easy choice. We’d happily stay here again.

They still haven’t returned our deposit, and now they’re ignoring us. We paid 100€ when we arrived. When we left, the room was tidy and clean: we removed the sheets and took out the rubbish. Reception wasn’t open, so the janitor told us to leave the cards on the table. It’s been six months and we still haven’t got our money back. We emailed and called, but got nothing. The apartment itself was okay, but not great. The kitchen is very basic, and they charge extra even for a kettle. Everything is as basic as possible. Parking costs 10€ a night (!!?). Honestly, this company seems focused on making money without providing service.

The pool area was spotless, and the room impressed me more than I expected after hearing some bad stories about Pins Marina. It’s basic, but very clean, and the staff are polite. There’s a €50 deposit per person, returned if you leave the room as you found it. Reception hours are 10am-1pm and 4pm-10pm, which was inconvenient when we arrived at 1:05 and had to wait. A great bus service stops right outside for Cambrills and Salou. Get a top-up card at a tobacco shop or Planna bus store and the fares are almost half price. I really enjoyed our stay, though a kettle would have been useful.
