The meal felt like home cooking, with great ingredients and a fair price. Fani and Marcos kept a close eye on everything and were really attentive. We asked for the steak to be cooked a bit longer, and it came out just right. They even brought extra potatoes after we’d finished ours. I’d happily come back. When I’m near Riós on the A52, this is a must-stop.

That txuleton (T-bone steak) is a treat, honestly fit for the gods! Everything else is excellent too. I always recommend this restaurant to friends visiting southern Galicia, and my family and I stop in whenever we get the chance. The quality for the price is hard to beat. 👌🏻

There’s loads to choose from at O PILAS, so on weekends I keep trying different dishes to get a taste of everything. The pasta salad, Russian salad, asparagus and cured meats have all been delicious. Then I go for a good ribeye steak, always amazing, with potatoes too. Really good value for food this quality.

Nearly 30 euros for a couple of coffees and two beers with tapas, as if we were in Ibiza! We got the same old brand as yesterday, and the waitress was smoking behind the bar. She didn’t serve us until she’d finished her cigarette. Maybe she thought we looked like rich kids. She was practically a dine and dash!
