The staff are really attentive, and the location is good. But the walls are so thin you can hear conversations from the rooms around you. They should hand out earplugs, even if it's just a tip.

The location made it easy to walk to Laurel Street for pintxos. Our bathroom, though, had so much mold that we could smell it as soon as we opened the door. The receptionist found us another room, but it was very sparse. We wouldn't stay here again.

The rooms are big and clean, and so are the bathrooms. The people running the hotel seem to be a family, and they're very nice. It's close to the centre, so you can walk to most places. My suite faced the school on one side and the front of the hotel on the other. If you want quiet, this may not be the hotel for you.

Handy for travellers, with the bus and train stations nearby. The historic district, restaurants, and shops are all an easy walk away.

I booked based on what looked like pretty poor reviews, but the place seems to have been updated. For a 1-star hotel and the price, it was cozy and very comfortable.
