The apartment was lovely and well equipped, and the hosts were excellent. Great mountain views, and a handy base for walking in the espuna sierra.

The gardens and views were spectacular, and we also enjoyed the pool and house. The owners were kind and attentive while respecting our privacy. They explained everything considerately, which let us enjoy the intimacy and magic of the place. We had a wonderful time.

It was very quiet because the place is away from the towns, and in summer the pool makes it a good option. But the water heater is VERY small. My partner could barely shower with hot water, and I had to wait a few hours before I could. When we told the owners, they were attentive, though there wasn't much they could do about the heater. The hot water lasted four minutes on the clock. In October or November you need enough hot water for at least one shower, and it just doesn't provide that. Recommended in summer, but not in winter.

We had a peaceful few days over Christmas, with lovely views, an interesting garden, good hiking nearby, pets welcome, attentive staff, and a very reasonable price. The water heater is a little small, though. I'd give it the fifth star once they put in a larger one.

A fantastic place for hiking, with amazing views and right by the village of Aledo. Great spot to stay.
