The location worked well, with cafés, restaurants, and pharmacies nearby, and the room was clean. Reception staff were polite, too. But the service felt limited for a 4-star hotel. We had one medium towel each for showering and a small one for face and hands, plus just a small bottle of water and two coffee capsules on arrival, with no other amenities. Breakfast was decent. I was especially uncomfortable when I invited my elderly great aunt, who wasn't staying at the hotel, to join me and offered her fruit juice. A staff member asked quite insistently for my room number so they could charge it, right at the entrance. It could have been handled with more tact and discretion. The stay was satisfactory for cleanliness and location, but the service and hospitality fell short of what I expect from a hotel in this category.

The breakfasts were tasty, and there are plenty of restaurants and shops close by, along with a lovely promenade and scenic lagoon. We were there from March 29 to April 2, and the room was clean. The staff were very friendly and sorted out our questions quickly. I'd recommend the hotel and will definitely return.

The room was very good, with a lovely spacious bath and a bidet in the bathroom, both less common in the coastal hotels we've stayed at over the years. There weren't any phone charging sockets by the bed, though. Staff speak English, so getting help should be easy, and the service was friendly. Finding the parking exit was no trouble. The entrance was another story: after circling the one-way streets for a while, we gave up and parked at a nearby building site. We'd try the hotel again if we can figure out the parking and avoid that frustrating arrival. We were driving, so the location wasn't ideal for us, though there was a great market and festive display just a minute or two away on foot. A couple of minutes away was also a decent-looking upmarket bar, with drinks much cheaper than in the UK. Since we live in southern Spain, that wasn't a surprise.

The staff were helpful and polite, and breakfast had lots to choose from. It's right in the town centre, which made for a great few days. There's free parking nearby, or hotel parking for €7.50 a day. A really good hotel.
