Hotel Don Miguel Playa

We keep coming back for a third year, and each visit has been better. For a 3-star hotel, we couldn't ask for more. Thanks for everything, we'll be back. Köszi, köszi.

The beach is an easy short walk away, breakfast was good, and the service was nice. The hotel was clean too. I just didn't care for the coffee.

Problems with bugs, water, and electricity made this stay a miserable experience. Bugs turned up in three of our four rooms, including in the bed, and staff moved us four times after different incidents. In one room we were moved to, someone else's belongings were already there and it hadn't been cleaned, as the pictures show. The water pressure was so low we couldn't flush the toilet or brush our teeth. Electrical issues kept us awake for much of the night. The staff were genuinely kind and tried to help, but that couldn't make up for the hotel's condition. I hope they fix the bugs and the water and electrical systems so the staff aren't left dealing with disappointed guests. It's just sad as things stand. After giving the hotel several chances, we rebooked somewhere else. We made the booking through Booking.com and hope to get a refund. If not, we won't use them again. I hope both the hotel and Booking.com apologize for putting a young teenage couple through such a horrific holiday.

Thin walls meant we sometimes heard people in the next rooms, the one drawback to an otherwise really enjoyable stay. The bathrooms were spotless, with good water pressure and temperature. Staff across reception, the bar, and kitchen were so polite and kind, and the breakfast was satisfactory. We asked for extra blankets and got them promptly. They were replaced after daily room service too, without any fuss. The roomkeepers were thorough, and every staff member was friendly and ready to help with a smile. I'd happily return.
