Getting to this hotel means a long walk, since it's at a gas station more than 2 km off the Camino trail. There's a shuttle between town and the hotel if you'd rather use that. The rooms are bright and clean, with basic amenities and comfortable beds. Sofas, tables, and chairs tucked into the corridor and little corners make it possible to sit quietly, work, or chat. Downstairs, the cafe serves pizza and very simple meals. Service was thoughtful, too. We had a quiet, smiley young waiter.

We found bedbugs and left as soon as we could. The hotel is at a gas station, and there are plenty of other negative things to say, but my advice is to stay away. The pictures don't match what you get. I don't recommend it.

I was there for lunch at the restaurant and had the day menu. There were about five or six choices for each of the first and second courses, plus more dessert options, which impressed me. The alubias were amazing, clearly lovingly cooked and deliciously homemade. The fish was also really, really good, and dessert was simpler but still good. Great value for money, especially for a menu beside or inside a service station. I love finding places like this!

Staying at a petrol station was a pretty unique experience, and it was very quiet. The restaurant was great, with a daily pilgrims menu I really enjoyed, and service stood out both there and at hotel reception. A free shuttle runs to and from the Camino, which helps since it's a bit far. The room did need some attention: the beds weren't very comfortable, there were quite a few tiny ants, Wi-Fi didn't work, and the AC only blew warm air. For what you get, it felt expensive, but overall it was a good experience.

I only stopped briefly for lunch on the way to Segovia, and was pleasantly surprised by the three-course meal with a drink for just €14.90. Incredible value, delicious food, and superb service. Well worth stopping, even if you have to detour!
