We enjoyed a late lunch here while on holiday. The dishes were really tasty, though the menu del día at 25 euro per person felt quite expensive and didn't offer many choices. The place is lovely, but we found the extra charge for sitting on the terrace surprising. The few outdoor tables are on plastic chairs beside a busy road, so the surcharge seemed avoidable.

Bikes have to be kept in the rooms. The manager offered to carry my wife's ebike up a flight of stairs, though we managed it ourselves. A bar directly below our open window stayed noisy until around midnight, perhaps closing time. On both nights, a bright white LED above our door came on around midnight and lit up the room far more than a nightlight. There was no switch, but it went off by itself after an hour or so. The hotel and restaurant were immaculate and well maintained. Breakfast was ok, with good breads, and the machine made the best coffee I've ever had. Service was ok too.

The room's walls were beautifully done in tiles and stone, with a lovely artistic flair, and the bed was very comfortable. We arrived late in the evening, and I was shown the room. Parking in their car park was easy. Breakfast was downstairs. A lady showed us to our table and pointed out the drinks machine. There was a table full of cakes, plenty of different breads and croissants, fresh fruit, orange juice, and tubs of preserves. We had a lively breakfast. It's a great, busy family-run hotel. I'll definitely stay again, though next time I'll try to arrive earlier so I can have a meal there. I've heard the cooking in Paulina is out of this world!

The rooms are clean and warm, and the wine is good. It's a friendly, good value place to stop and relax. The food was spot on, especially the perfect rabbit stew.

We spotted this local place while driving the autoroute from santander. There's a bar for drinks and coffee, and the menu is mostly meat, so we had limited options as vegetarians. It was ok.
