Pedro was a welcoming, helpful host. He had very limited English and we had no Spanish, but we managed to communicate. The hotel is close to Santander and has good parking. Our room was very clean, with a good shower and toiletries, a comfy bed, and a small balcony that was lovely for an evening drink. Breakfast was very good.

Our room was quiet and very clean, with an en suite, and the little terrace looking over the garden was perfect for a sundowner. Breakfast was excellent, and parking was good too. The host was friendly and helpful. We had no Spanish and he had limited English, but we communicated well. It's a lovely little hotel, with several restaurants nearby since the hotel only serves breakfast.

After all these years roaring through to catch the ferry, we've finally found this little gem. It's a first-class place to stop before the ferry or use as a base for seeing the area.

For 50 euros, it was a good place to spend one night before catching the ferry from Santader to the UK. The service was good and the room was clean. I wouldn’t want to stay longer, though. The Wi-Fi was really slow and didn’t work properly, and there was an unpleasant smell in both the foyer and the room. Neither issue was enough to spoil the stay.

The location worked well for my ferry stopover, and they accommodated me even though I arrived late. The gentleman was polite and courteous, though he didn’t speak English. At 50 euros, I’d stay again because of the price and location, but I wouldn’t pay more. The room and main foyer had a strong, slightly fishy smell, possibly from some kind of wood oil. A few candles in the foyer or some room spray might help. The Wi-Fi was poor, so I wouldn’t plan to work from there. The smell wasn’t a deal breaker or a reason to leave a negative review.
