The staff were especially friendly and helpful, and the rooms looked just like the photos. We had breakfast included. It tasted good and was well prepared, though it barely changed from day to day, so I ended up eating much the same thing every morning. The pool was fine, if a bit small, but the water felt quite cold in January despite being described as heated. The shower’s hot water ran out quickly, so we had to plan when to shower. There are lots of stairs around the resort, but the key opens gates that let you avoid many of them. With a baby buggy we only had a few steps to manage between reception and breakfast, and that was no problem. A good hotel with nice rooms and very welcoming staff.

This was our second stay, and we’d come back again. The apartments are modern, comfortable, and clean, with a microwave, kettle, fridge, filter coffee machine, and pod coffee machine. The TV and Wi-Fi both worked well. We liked being able to walk down to the main town while staying away from the sometimes noisy bars. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Andrea, the main lifeguard, is the best, though the stand-in isn’t quite as good on his day off. Anna from TUI was lovely and helped arrange a trip to the North West. And we loved the hotel cat. He politely showed us to our room, speaks lots of languages, and is happy to accept the odd cat treat.

We might come back and would recommend Ohasis. The breakfast was excellent, the hotel was very clean, and the pool area was nice with space available. There was a little gym too. Be ready for quite a lot of small steps and stairs, which could be difficult for some. We treated the holiday as fitness, getting more than 10,000 steps every day, even when we went to the beach. We’d been told about nearby construction, though mining work might be the better description. The machine pounded on weekdays from 8 am to 6:30 pm. It didn’t bother us much because we weren’t in our rooms then, and there wasn’t much noise around the pool.

We’ve booked again for November 2026 because the apartments suited us so well. The living and kitchen area had what we needed, as long as you aren’t planning to cook a four-course meal. The bedroom and bathroom were fine, and there were extra pillows and blankets. It’s about 30 minutes from the beach, with a steep but manageable climb. We also fell for the little gray-and-white house cat. Please be kind to her ❤️
