The bed was awful, with an old, soft mattress. The bike we rented was rusty, and its gears didn't work. One evening we arrived just five minutes late for our booked dinner and were told to comb our hair. The air conditioning wasn't working, and apparently it wouldn't be fixed soon. There was no mini-fridge or balcony in the room either. Breakfast was mediocre and came with bottled juice. Dinner was horrible: poorly defrosted fish or breaded chicken from bags, with store-bought chips. Starters included boiled potatoes with a blob of bought mayonnaise and bought asparagus. The food was cheap, frozen, reheated stuff. I was shocked by how stingy the boiled potato starter was. They called one dessert “mango mousse,” but it was actually nectarine mousse. Similar taste, but don't try to fool people. You've been warned.

On my last visit, the air conditioning was broken, but otherwise the facilities are very good. I've stayed here twice and recommend the hotel. I travel a lot for work and have slept in all kinds of dives that were supposedly better equipped than Señora Maria, but they weren't better than this place. The staff are pleasant, friendly, and attentive. Many thanks to everyone for making my stay so enjoyable.

The quiet village made it easy to get a good night's sleep, and the best thing was being able to see my car from the room in the parking area. The staff were attentive, and cleanliness and hygiene were excellent. I'll almost certainly come back.
