Hotel Lleo

We had a great stay. The room was spotless and cleaned every day, and the staff were very friendly. The location was ideal, near the metro and within walking distance of everything. They let us store our luggage at both check-in and check-out. There weren't enough power outlets, but it didn't get in the way of our stay. Thanks for everything.

Hotel Lleo was in a really convenient spot. We could walk to lots of places, and the metro and bus were easy to reach. We enjoyed the terrace views in the morning and evening, and caught both a lovely sunrise and sunset. The breakfast was very good, with decent vegan choices for me. Our room was in the middle of the building, comfortable and nice, though we wished we’d booked one with a window. There was enough space for our luggage. The staff were so friendly, especially Jose, whose warm welcome made us feel at ease right away. We’d love to return to Barcelona and stay here again.

It was easy to walk to many tourist attractions from Hotel Lleo, and taxis were readily available right outside. The room was larger than most hotel rooms I’ve stayed in around Europe. Before my visit, the hotel emailed useful details about the booking and what to expect, including the possibility of an upgrade. I arrived early, and they were able to check me into an available room. The customer service and communication were excellent.

The street can be noisy in the evenings, but it didn’t bother us. My wife and I walked to all the major sights around Barcelona from here, and the rooms were clean and suited our visit well. For a surprise getaway, it was a great mix of location and cost.
