Apartamentos Martín

Puerto Naos stays pleasantly warm in November and December, which makes this a handy base for hiking. The area is only just starting to reopen after the volcanic eruption, but the infrastructure is already very good, and the staff are exceptionally welcoming. Our apartment was clean, and Luis, Carlos, and Olga regularly brought fresh towels and linens and helped us out. We loved having coffee on the balcony in the morning, with a magical view, and watching the sunset from the west-facing balcony later in the day.

The owner, Olga, was always professional. These apartments sit right by the sea, so the waves make a fantastic soundtrack. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes along the promenade, too.

A lovely beach, plus a couple of beach bars and restaurants just a few minutes away, made it easy to spend a relaxing few days here. The apartments are right on the beachfront, with amazing views and the sea to wake up to. They're also a good base for seeing the rest of the island. Everything was spotless and well equipped, and the value for money was hard to beat. The location is wonderful, with good weather almost guaranteed even when other parts of the island are a bit rougher. We’ll definitely come back, especially for a winter break away from the mainland.

The price and location are both really good, and having a small kitchen with a fridge works great for us. The balcony looks out over the sea and the paragliding landing area, but since it faces south it gets too hot to sit out there by midday. The shower is tiny, and its small head doesn't give proper pressure. Cleanliness was just okay. There are two single beds you can push together, but the mattresses keep sliding apart, so a double bed would be nicer.
