It’s a small, pleasant family beach with toilets, showers, and sunbeds. Just watch out for the strong wind and waves.

The house has lovely architecture and was clean, though the bathroom needs renovating. The shower curtains felt cheap and unhygienic. Service was practically absent: we waited two hours for the owner to bring the keys, and only got through after calling every number on the front door. We saw no one from reception during our two-week stay and left our voucher ourselves when we departed. Wi-Fi cost €15 for those two weeks, which didn’t feel like a bargain. Since we had booked through a tour operator, we were given a room at the edge of the building facing the facade, though it did have a partial sea view.

The morning view goes a long way toward making up for the bedroom windows opening onto an open corridor. The corridor floors aren’t separated by ceilings, and there’s no roof, so the unusual architecture isn’t ideal for a good night’s sleep. The location and facilities were rated sufficiently well, and I agree with that.

The apartment is a good size and right by the beach, but the bathroom is dilapidated and the furniture is uncomfortable and overdue for an update. The kitchen also lacks appliances. A bar downstairs stays open until 1:30 a.m., so the noise makes sleeping impossible. At lunch and dinner, cooking smells from the restaurant and its adjoining terrace get into the apartment. Wi-Fi is paid and expensive.
