The rooms were spacious, clean, and looked after well, which made the stay's other problems all the more disappointing. We arrived at the agreed check-in time, but still waited an hour because the rooms weren't ready. The hosts were very unfriendly, especially the grey-haired woman. Dinner cost EUR 23 per person, and we had to ask what the price was first. We expected more for that, but the food was carelessly served and didn't feel lovingly prepared. Only the salad was enjoyable. Breakfast wasn't much better, just a thin slice of toast with margarine, a small juice, and coffee. The location and hotel could have been wonderful, but the lack of hospitality overshadowed everything. We've never experienced such unfriendliness before, and sadly I can't give more than one star.

The bathrooms were new and the sheets were clean, which was all we needed. We weren't expecting a five-star hotel, so I don't think it's fair to criticize the place for not being one. We'd been biking from Pamplona toward Huesca, but the heat kept us from reaching our planned stop 18 miles away. I'm so glad we found this magical spot. We were really hungry, and they happily made us extra food.
