Breakfast was horrible. The eggs and tortilla were good, but ran out quickly. The drinks weren’t enjoyable, and the tomatoes were the worst I’ve ever had, hard and cold under some garlic sauce. There was white sandwich bread for toasting and fruit salad, but no whole fruits like apples or oranges, which seemed a shame on an island with so much fruit and vegetables. We paid 160 EUR per night between Christmas and NY, far too much for what was offered. Our first room had windows facing the street; for another 15 EUR we could move two floors down to a room overlooking a patch of land, which was okay. There was no lift, just two flights of stairs. A sign in the room said there’d be no cleaning the next day, which seemed odd for a hotel. The twin beds were bolted to the wall, so we couldn’t push them together. The shower had hardly any light, the room smelled a little, and it was very cold at night. There was an illuminated “Exit” sign above the door that we had to cover with a blanket to sleep. The beds and blankets were very basic. This hotel could offer a lot, but as it is now, it’s really bad and not worth the money.

My sister and I found this simple, beautiful family-run hotel comfortable. It’s far enough from things to be quiet at night, but still a short drive from everything. We had no trouble finding street parking, with plenty of spaces. I’ll book it again on my next trip to Tenerife.

The building is beautiful, the restaurant staff were polite, the food was good, and the balcony had a nice view. But there was nobody at reception at 8pm, and check-in was not smooth. My room wasn’t very clean, there was no soap or coffee machine, and 130€ for one night didn’t feel justified. Better check-in, housekeeping, and updated rooms could make this a great hotel.

The staff were friendly and spoke English and German. We liked the pool, the good breakfast, and the hotel’s own restaurant, which was convenient and quite good for dinner. It’s in a nice historic town with an amazing view. The bed was OK, though the rooms are somewhat outdated and could have been cleaned better.

The room walls were so thin that I could hear the neighboring guests talking and even using the toilet. I was there for four nights, but after the first night I asked to cancel the fourth so I could sleep properly before my travel day. They offered no compromise.
