The little shop had plenty of everyday essentials at fair prices, and there’s a big supermarket nearby too. I really enjoyed my stay here. It’s the kind of campsite I’d happily return to year after year. The owners and staff were super friendly, and they clearly care about keeping things clean and quiet after certain hours. The location is great, with a back gate onto the road and the fantastic Playa de Otur about 500 metres away. Some of the facilities could use an update at some point.

The beach music carried on until 4:30 in the morning. That’s not the campground’s fault, but it’s worth mentioning. Our pitch was uneven and we couldn’t get it level. Worse, even though the site was only about 40% occupied and there was no overnight turnover, we were given a spot so small that only one door could open. We only got a slightly better one after complaining loudly. They said they had to keep other spaces for larger camper vans, yet the next camper van of our size was given a larger, better pitch. It seemed like non-native Spanish speakers weren’t treated the same.

The walk down to the beach is lovely, though the climb back up is steep! The campsite is small, with a well-stocked shop, and the facilities were very clean. The owners were really nice too. ;0)

Luarca made a nice day trip, with free campervan parking at several spots. Parking number 2 worked well, while parking number 1 is underground, and there’s also campervan parking up the hill. We stayed in a campervan at this quiet, rural site, with a nice beach about 10 minutes downhill. The staff were very helpful, and we had good food at the small restaurant. There’s a little shop with the essentials too. On our way out, we got stuck in loose gravel while turning. The campsite helped us out, along with a very helpful British camper who had a tow rope. Thanks to the campsite owner.

We were very close to our neighbours because the pitches were extremely narrow. The walk down to the beautiful beach was lovely, and the beach bar was good. There’s also a bar on site, which was nice for an evening drink or a meal.
