The hotel is new, and everything looks great. I liked the design, and the staff were welcoming and super friendly. There’s a lighthouse with a great view over the surrounding hills. To the left are two beautiful beaches and a botanical garden, well worth spending time in for the amazing views. Breakfast costs 10 euro and was nice, with eggs cooked on request. It can get a bit loud in the evening because the hotel is next to restaurants, but we closed the windows and the bathroom door and couldn’t hear anything in the end.

Elena at the front desk was so helpful and kind. The hotel is listed as 3 stars, though I think it’s closer to 4. It’s very new and stylish, and clearly well thought out, with great rooms and a fantastic breakfast. Highly recommended in luarca.

I felt like I was staying in luxury here. Hotel Puerto de Luarca was spotless and brand new, right in the centre and close to everything. It’s a two-minute walk to the boardwalk and lots of restaurants, and about a 15-minute walk to the beaches. The staff were lovely, and Elena was especially helpful and resourceful. I’ll definitely stay again.

This was easily my favorite hotel on the Camino del Norte. Brenda was warm and friendly, responded quickly, and let me check in early. The bed was comfortable, with a thick comforter and fluffy pillows that felt just right. The room was clean, modern and soundproof, with thoughtful extras: high quality air conditioning, a rain head shower, a large window that opened wide, mood lighting and an espresso machine with decaf and caffeinated options. It’s right in the heart of town, and I thought it was great value for the price. I’d definitely stay here again if I return to Luarca.

Elena at the front desk was a gem, exceptionally kind and helpful, and made my family feel very welcome during our three-night stay at the end of April. Olvi was also lovely and hospitable, cooking eggs and bacon to order alongside the very nice breakfast buffet. The hotel was quiet, clean and modern, in a beautiful area with plenty to see and explore. We had a wonderful experience. I highly recommend staying here in Luarca, and can’t wait to return!
