Alberto, whose grandmother founded Casa Consuelo, and the staff looked after us so well. The dining room was lovely, with crisp white tablecloths, and the service was excellent. We’d eaten fairly recently, so we split a salad and sole, both just right, and the portions were huge. We’d only stopped by on Sunday hoping to get lunch, but got much more than we expected. The food was excellent.

The wine list is amazing, and the staff are warm as well as very professional. We had tasty, good-quality Spanish food, with a strong regional feel. It’s worth taking the road and giving this place a try. I’d definitely recommend it.

The menu of the day is great, with generous amounts and good quality for the price. It is a little expensive, but a nice place to eat if you’re on the Camino.

The food was outstanding, and Steven and his staff gave us excellent service. If you’re visiting the Otur area, Casa Consuelo is a must. Don’t hesitate to stop in.

The daily menu is just €15, with generous portions and a very decent bottle of red Rioja included. The a la carte menu is quite pricey, though still great value. We had massive portions of fish, and the croquetas were out of this world. It’s authentic Spanish food, handmade, and absolutely stunning. The service was just as excellent as the food. Casa Consuelo is on the main road, not far from Luarca, a little gem on the Asturias coastline. Give it a go, you won’t regret it!
