Dogs can stay for an extra €7.50 per day. The owner was lovely too, and left milk, coffee, cocoa and sobaos for the four of us, enough for two breakfasts. We stayed in one of the three apartments. It had a well-equipped kitchen with a washing machine, dryer, iron and coffee maker, though no oven. Outside there’s a lit gazebo, a barbecue area with tables under cover and in the open, and a river nearby where you can swim. It’s a really peaceful spot for a few days of rest. A few things could be better: getting in means tackling a very steep ramp, the shower towels are too small, and the smallest bedroom doesn’t have enough light for reading in bed.

There’s a spectacular 6,000 m² estate with a river where children and pets can wander safely and freely. The apartments are affordable and work well for families or groups. It’s a welcoming, peaceful place in the heart of Cantabria’s Pasiegos Valleys.

Javier was so hospitable. He suggested places to eat and where to find the best sobaos and orujo, and was always on hand to help make our stay as lovely as it was. We spent six wonderful days here. The beds were really comfortable, the house was excellent and well equipped, and the scenery was spectacular. I’m surprised by complaints about a small TV, ants or the lack of an oven. We came to be surrounded by nature, not to live like we do in the city, and we didn’t miss anything. We just wished we could have stayed longer, enjoying the fresh air and the sound of the river. We’ll definitely come back if we can.

There’s loads of room for kids to play, with no cars nearby to worry about. You’re surrounded by nature, right among the Pasiegos Valleys, with mountains all around and wonderfully pure air. The views are spectacular. I came to Cantabria with my wife and our two young children for a few days, hoping to find somewhere welcoming with great views. We chose well. The apartment had everything we needed for a relaxing stay, and the people running it were very friendly. You’re in close contact with the local flora and fauna. We’ll definitely return on our next visit. The only thing that could be improved is the lack of signs showing how to get there, but that should be easy to fix.

We came as a family and will be back. It’s a quiet, cozy place close to Cabarseno, and the apartment is really nice. The gentleman was super friendly and always attentive. Best regards.
