We stayed four days, and even when we turned up late for dinner, someone always greeted us warmly. They’d find us something, maybe broth, a Spanish omelet, or tomatoes from their own garden. It’s a welcoming place run by a lovely family. Kindness like that means a lot. I hope things go well for them. Thanks so much.

We still plan to visit Lugo, and Hostal Cuatro Ventos will be the first place we check when we do. We couldn’t stay for the two nights we’d booked because of a difficult situation, but they treated us with real care and understanding. Five stars for their attention and empathy.
