The bed was comfortable, but the pillow was much too thin, and we got no rest at all. The walls were paper-thin, so we could hear everything, and the noise made the night awful. The room itself was small and clean, though the bathroom curtain rod was broken and the curtains hung loose. The woman who checked us in was helpful and attentive. Getting there was confusing because the phone number in the Booking.com confirmation didn’t exist. After a long while not knowing what to do, we spotted a sign with another number hanging from a window. I don’t recommend it.

We could hear everything from outside and from the other rooms, and the bathroom smell was unbearable. The listing promised “city views,” but all we saw was the back of a building. We guessed there was a restaurant there because food smells kept drifting in. The room was filthy, with stained walls and hair across the room, including on the bed. It looked like a mix of human and animal hair. The bed frame had broken slats on both sides, and neither the window nor the blind worked properly; the blind wouldn’t come down. They didn’t even know how many nights we’d booked when we arrived. It was a complete rip-off and a huge disappointment, even though the price was relatively low. I wouldn’t recommend it even for a quick getaway.

Don’t book through Booking.com or Agoda, it’s a scam. Their chat services send you to personal phone numbers, where they say to cancel if you need to change the date and promise Coalla Rooms will refund your deposit right away so you can book again. When you call back, a woman answers and basically laughs at you.

Booking.com says pets are allowed, but they aren’t. Thankfully, the person we spoke with refunded our reservation without any trouble. I haven’t stayed at the hotel, so I can’t say anything else about it. If this helps anyone with dogs, that’s good.

The owners were incredibly friendly, and the place was clean and well looked after. I left something important in my room, and they kindly mailed it to me. I’m very grateful and would definitely stay there again.
