Casa Rural Vistaluque

We slept wonderfully, the beds and pillows were very comfortable. The house was fantastic and had everything we needed for our couple of days with family. The complex is great, with a pool and a paddle tennis court, though we didn’t have time to use the court. Best of all was the hospitality: they gave us a warm welcome and great recommendations for places nearby. Highly recommend it.

Isabel gave us a very warm welcome. The house was cozy, clean and well equipped, with comfortable beds. The sunny terrace and fireplace were lovely touches over Christmas. Firewood for the fireplace costs extra, though, and it would be perfect if that were included in the price.

We felt cheated and wouldn’t recommend VISTALUQUE. We’d booked two double rooms for the second day of a cycling trip during Easter week, but torrential rain on the first day forced us to cut the trip short and cancel all our reservations. Every other accommodation refunded us, understanding it was force majeure. VISTALUQUE offered to hold our reservation, but when we tried to rebook for September, they said neither September nor October was possible. We then asked for a partial refund and were refused. The service at other accommodations in the area was excellent, which made the contrast stark. So, given the choice…

The owner says, "this is a business." It certainly felt that way: we were treated like merchandise, and they kept our money after unforeseen circumstances without making even the slightest effort. Think twice before booking here. There are other options.
