The people were so friendly, and the surroundings are amazing. Such a beautiful place, especially for families or a big group. We’ll be back.

For what four hostel beds would cost, a room for four here gave us much more space and privacy, plus a great pool and incredible views. The manager was lovely, and the house itself is excellent. It’s well worth stopping for an afternoon and evening on the drive from Granada to Cordoba.

The site is beautiful, and Javier, the manager who replaced the first one, was friendly. He let us use their freezer for our ice creams and my son’s breakfast milk. The Airbnb breakfast we expected wasn’t included when we arrived because we’d booked directly with them, so they didn’t have to pay Airbnb’s service fees. I’d advise booking through Airbnb so they have to honor the promises and rules they set for themselves. I usually try to focus on the positives, but this stay left me baffled. I’d told the staff I owed them a review. After our first night, at 9 in the morning, I mentioned that I’d found hairs of different colors and sizes in the bed sheets when I opened them. It was late the night before, and I didn’t want the manager to have to come back, so I waited to bring it up. There were other cleaning problems too: a brown speck in the bidet, brown fingerprints on the light buttons, and hairs on the bathroom furniture. There was dust and hair all over the room, but I was going to clean that myself. The manager asked to inspect the room with me and agreed it was unacceptable to sleep with other people’s hair on the sheets and pillow. He apologized and said he’d send the cleaner to clean the whole room and change the bed. So I was surprised to come back later and find everything looking untouched. When I asked why, he said the cleaner had checked with him and they’d personally removed the three hairs they could find on the bed, so in their opinion it was clean. They’d also scrubbed one light button and removed the 💩 speck from the bidet. I didn’t understand why the agreement had changed. After about 45 minutes discussing it, he apologized again and offered to change the sheets. That took roughly another 20 minutes, though the manager seemed to think I was happy now. When I checked out, I explained the whole thing to the head manager, but he couldn’t do anything more with it either. They told me they’d never had complaints about cleanliness, but Susana López Hernández, Maria José medina, and José Rafael amo Rodríguez had the same problems, and their photos look like they were all in the same apartment. Maybe that particular room is haunted by a dirt ghost. 😂 If nobody speaks up about the cleaning, they can keep pretending it deserves a 9 out of 10 for cleanliness. I’m writing this for future guests who aren’t satisfied, so the place can work on its problems and earn such a high score. I hope they do, because the place is worth the effort and improvement. The Airbnb could be perfect with better cleaning and more client friendly service. Right now it comes across a bit plain.

The views from both the room and the pool are great, and the nearby villages feel authentic. The rooms have balconies, though they could use more decoration.
