Can Bassa Hotel Boutique

We only had a short visit, which is a shame, because we'd love to come back. The hotel sits beside a lovely little village dating back to around the 13th century, with fields and rolling hills all around. It's a converted farmhouse, peaceful indoors and out in the gardens. Our spacious room was tastefully done, with a huge, quiet bed that made for a great night's sleep. Breakfast was delicious, and the fairly priced honesty bar is a nice touch. Pedro and his family are warm and genuine, and we felt at home as soon as we arrived. One of the nicest hotels I've stayed in, easily five stars, and I'd give it six if I could.

The staff were so welcoming and helpful throughout, always ready with a smile. The bathroom stood out too, with excellent heating and water pressure, just what I needed for a hot shower after a day out exploring. Everything was spotless, from our room to the shared areas. The decor has a lovely classic, cozy feel, with beautiful details and plenty of charm from the surrounding nature. This small boutique hotel clearly cares about comfort and quality. It was a wonderful stay, and I'll definitely be back.

Pedro was incredibly warm and welcoming, and even though we booked very late during an overlong trip home and arrived late, the service was outstanding. The rooms are beautifully decorated, the amenities are thoughtfully taken care of, and the trust-based bar is a great touch. Every detail felt just right. This jewel of a hotel makes me want to explore more of the inland areas. Our whole family is grateful for the welcome.

The bikes were in great shape and well maintained. Daniel gave us helpful route ideas and took the time to adjust them for me, which I really appreciated on my first road bike trip. Everything else was just as good, from the tastefully decorated rooms to the excellent service, and they seemed to have an answer for any request. We feel lucky to have found this gem and had a wonderful stay. Looking forward to coming back next year.
