We spent 12 days in Spain, visiting Madrid, Cordoba, Seville, Granada, and Barcelona, and this was easily the best place we stayed. It was quiet, near government buildings, with plenty of restaurants and shops close by. Even though our room was just one floor up and faced the main road, it stayed quiet. The room was spacious, modern, and well thought out. There's parking under the hotel, which is rare in the area, and the staff were super friendly. I'd like to keep it a secret for my next visit, but they deserve the praise.

We came here after a terrible experience at the urban stay location, and the front desk staff here were available and helpful. The rooms are new and modern, very nice, though small. We loved hanging out on the rooftop after dinner. Just so you know, the nightclub across the street is loud until it closes at 6 a.m. Depending on where your room is, that could be a problem. Aside from that, it's a really nice place.

For the price and the reviews, we expected basic supplies and service. We stayed five nights, and our room wasn't cleaned once or given fresh towels. They hadn't even provided simple things like washing machine tablets or a wine opener, so you have to buy everything yourself, including salt and oil if you want to cook, have wine in the apartment, or do laundry. Even a basic Airbnb alternative would supply those. There was also construction noise in the hotel every day, and we hadn't been told about it or given a discount. As others have said, there's a lot of noise from the extractor too. It feels like cheap accommodation at an expensive price.

The rooms are clean and well equipped, though a bit small, which I guess is Madrid centre. You can't hear outdoor noise, at least on the 5th floor, and the location is good. I could hear some noise from the apartment next door, though maybe the people staying there were just noisy. You can hear through to the next apartment. There was construction on Monday and Tuesday, with drilling into walls starting around 9:30. My room was sold as an apartment, but there was no door to the bedroom, so it felt more like a studio. I guess they have studio rooms too.
