The location was great, but everything else was awful. The entry was weird, the layout made no sense, and the towels and linens were terrible. The room smelled, the toilet wasn't attached, and the small shower had a drain that wasn't attached either. There were no people to contact, only a chatbot. The exhausting pre-check-in required every guest to be verified through WhatsApp. They also charge $15 for priority cleaning and another $15 to “hire” a second-day towel. We slept there one night, then bolted for an actual hotel.

I woke up with several bites and suspect there might have been bed bugs. The room was so filthy that I didn't want to touch anything. There were holes in the sheets, a bad smell, and cups on the table that reeked of urine. The sheets had yellow stains and hairs all over them. It looked like the room hadn't been cleaned in weeks, and the whole experience left me feeling disgusted and unclean. I would never recommend this place. Renting a room in that condition, with a possible bed bug problem, is unacceptable. It was awful and left a lasting impression. Save yourself the trouble and stay far away.

Getting in depends entirely on an email link, so bring your phone when you leave the room because you'll need it to open both doors. If you arrive without internet beyond Wi-Fi, as I did from the airport, you may not be able to get in. I had to book another hotel for the first night of my two-night stay, and couldn't reach a real person to get that night refunded. The place has a trendy, modern look, but it didn't feel regularly cleaned or maintained. The sheets and towels were stained, and the floors and surfaces weren't clean. A fan in the room was broken, and there was no A/C. There’s no staff on site, and nobody responded to my messages, so it lacked the personal help and security of a regular hostel.

The smell of sewer was there all the time, and there was no hot water beyond about a minute of warm shower water. The tap was loose, the soap dispenser broken, and the rug very dirty. The bed was crooked and made it really hard to sleep. They eventually cleaned the room, then said this was an exception. If you want cleaning after you arrive, you have to pay extra. When we got there, the room hadn't been cleaned. They blamed a late cleaning lady, even though our room wasn't on the cleaning list. Communication is only by email, with nobody at the hotel to help. It's a really difficult place to deal with. Don't waste your time staying here.
