Hotel Acta Madfor

The hotel is clean, and having a living room for gathering is nice. But when I asked for water, staff refused to provide it, and it wasn’t replenished on the following days either. You can easily hear the neighbours and get bothered by the surroundings. Most unacceptable, the hotel charges for luggage storage.

The hotel is at least a 20-minute walk from any main street, and there were homeless people around the door. Inside, the walls are extremely thin: you can hear the neighbours’ TV, talking, walking, literally everything. The thermostat didn’t work, so we ended up opening the window. The room safe was broken, and the beds were uncomfortable.

Our balcony room looked out over the river, a beautiful view, and it was clean and comfortable for my husband and me. We visited Madrid in December and would definitely return. The hotel is across the street from shopping, the Metro, and a train station, so getting to other parts of the city is easy. We walked to most city-center attractions, and the Royal Palace is very close. The elevator is tiny. Highly recommend!

After we left the hotel for Barcelona, I realized my phone was still in the room safe. I contacted the hotel right away, and the reception team responded quickly and put me at ease. Marc and the staff found it fast, then took the extra step of arranging to get it safely back to me after I’d departed. Their communication, efficiency, and willingness to help really impressed me. At Acta Madfor Madrid, Marc and his colleagues at reception showed real care and professionalism. I’m very grateful for their support. If you value great guest service, I highly recommend this hotel. Thanks again to Marc and the whole team for making the experience memorable and stress-free.
