Eseosa O.
I paid through booking.com, but no code or any other check-in details arrived. I checked in around 20:00-21:00 and still hadn't received a code or room number. This location feels like a scam.

I had a good stay at Aloja Madrid and found it a decent choice for a short break. The rooms are basic but have what you need for a comfortable rest. They also leave coffee, tea, and a croissant, which is a nice little touch. It was peaceful during my Tuesday stay, perhaps because it wasn't as busy then. Simple but functional accommodation.
Works fine if all you need is somewhere to sleep. There are bars and other services all around, and it's near the Moncloa Lighthouse and the Museum of the Americas.
The room and bathroom were spotless, the bed was comfortable, and self check-in and checkout were easy. It's good value for money and very conveniently placed, about a 10-minute walk to Plaza de España and close to the metro. Air circulation wasn't great, as my room faced a dark interior courtyard. Soundproofing was poor too, so I could hear everything from outside and from other rooms.
The rooms are clean and not especially old, but I regret staying here because getting any rest was impossible. Street noise came through constantly. On my night there I slept no more than three hours total, in half-hour stretches. A nearby bar stayed open until 6 a.m., and the people who go there aren't exactly quiet or polite. Worst accommodation I've ever stayed in.
