We were so grateful for how the hotel helped after our phones were stolen at Teatro Kapital on the second day of our trip. They let us use the business phone to contact our parents and others for the rest of the holiday, then arranged a taxi to the airport. They really saved our holiday. We stayed four nights, and the clean, comfortable room and the great location just off Gran Via were both good. We could walk everywhere, and the service was impeccable.
The location was perfect, only a 5-7 minute walk from the center, and the staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful. The rooms felt a little old-fashioned, though, and for that reason the price seemed slightly high.
Being so central was the main plus. We stayed four nights, but the room was extremely small, and although it was clean, there was nowhere to hang anything in the bathroom. It was very noisy at night. We won't stay there again. Two stars.
The staff were really nice, and lots of guests left their suitcases after checkout to pick up later. Shops and bars are close by, so the hostel is very well placed. The rooms are tiny, though, and the balcony is mostly taken up by the AC unit.
We only stayed one night, and I couldn't imagine spending another there. In the middle of the night, someone tried to open our door twice. You can also hear the neighbors every time they open or shut theirs, and it's very loud. That's why I gave it three stars.
