The kitchenette had everything we needed, and the pool was really nice. We had a pleasant stay.

Dear Human Resource Department, The room was in fantastic condition and very clean. Everything was wonderful. We knew before booking that the apartment was under construction, so that wasn’t an issue. The pool staff could have been friendlier and better suited to this property. I was using the pool around 5pm on the 5th of September. I’d read all the rules at the entrance, and none said I couldn’t swim in long pants made from swimwear material. The rules weren’t posted anywhere else, either. The worst part was that the staff member waited until after I’d rinsed off under the extremely cold shower and gotten into the pool to tell me. I’d been beside the pool for more than 20 minutes before getting in. Thank goodness I wasn’t drowning, since it took her so long to get my attention! She’s unqualified for a property of this class. That kind of poorly trained attitude might be acceptable at a roadside motel, but not at your level of property.

The bed was comfortable, the location was good, and I liked having a small kitchen and wardrobe. But my room wasn’t one of the upgraded ones, and there was no sun coming in because it overlooked a backdrop, which felt depressing. You could hear the neighbors through the walls. One night a couple were screaming at each other at 5 am, so I couldn’t sleep. Cleaning was done every two days. One day the cleaner forgot to shut my door after she left. I was away from the apartment for 9 hours, with valuables inside and no safe box. Nothing was stolen, but this should never happen. I complained to the receptionist, who said they’d report it, and then I heard nothing more, not even an apology. Some of the staff weren’t friendly, either. The key didn’t work well, so I kept having to ask them to change it, which got tiring.

We were in Madrid for one night to take care of some business, and had a really pleasant stay. Check-in was easy, the studio was clean, and they even gave us a free upgrade to see their new suites. I was there with my partner, and the experience was great.
