Catalonia Plaza España Hotel & Spa

The shower was the one frustrating part, with the water temperature shifting between hot and cold. That’s what made me hesitate between four and five stars. Still, the stay was fantastic: warm, welcoming service, a spacious modern room, and a prime location. The terrace is a must-see, and the price felt very fair for what you get. Great hotel!

Ainhoa made the whole process easy and stress-free with her care, attention to detail and genuine willingness to help. She always responded quickly and efficiently, and working with her felt warm and pleasant. Our offsite at this hotel was wonderful from beginning to end. Everything was organized smoothly and thoughtfully, and the whole team made us feel at home. The experience went beyond what we expected. I’m grateful for the professionalism and kindness, and we’d be very happy to return.

We were glad to get an upgrade to a better room after becoming members. It was a thoughtful touch. The gentleman at reception was welcoming and professional, which put us at ease right away. The hotel is magnificent, well located and beautifully maintained. We didn’t get a chance to try the food, but everything else made our Madrid stay really enjoyable.

We enjoyed the bar, spa and gym, and all the facilities were in top shape. The hotel was immaculately clean throughout, and the staff were helpful, friendly and always cheerful from check-in to check-out. They even made a lovely gesture for our birthdays 🎂 Thanks for such a fantastic stay. We’ll definitely come back next time we’re in Madrid!
