We were there for two nights, and the breakfast was the standout: delicious pastries, high-quality food, and freshly squeezed orange juice. The gym was a little small, but we still got a good workout in, and the jacuzzi was good too. The hotel’s in a great central spot between El retiro and plaza mayor, with everything within walking distance. Our spacious, modern room was on the ground floor and very quiet. It was a really good stay.

It was my first time at a Catalonia hotel, and I came away really impressed. They upgraded me to a premium room with a huge king bed, large bathroom and enormous shower. It also had a robe, slippers, good toiletries, a stocked minibar, plenty of cupboard space, a kettle, and a coffeemaker. The staff were pleasant, friendly, and helpful. Excellent buffet breakfast and a good location. Highly recommended.

The breakfast was fresh, tasty, and had plenty of variety. We loved it all. The hotel itself is spacious, with big, clean rooms and a central location that makes the metro easy to reach. Many thanks to the lovely staff, especially Veronica, who was always smiling, helpful, and pleasant. Thank you very much, and see you next time, Revi and Shlomi

The rooms were comfortable and well kept, and we’d stay again. The name is a little misleading since Plaza Mayor is still a decent walk away, though the area is great and there’s plenty around. We arrived very early, before the 3pm check-in, and they kindly let us rest in the lobby and store our bags while we went out to explore and get food.

From the moment we arrived, the team made everything easy, from carrying our bags to sorting out dinner plans. The room was spacious, spotless, and lovely, and the breakfast buffet was fantastic. We had a great stay and plan to come back.
